Science Teacher (Full Time, Part Time, Long and Short Term Contracts) Opportunity – Secondary School – Oxford

Are you a qualified Science Teacher or Science Specialist looking for work within secondary schools in Oxford?

Academics Ltd are working with an outstanding school in Oxford who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher to join them in September 2025. We are looking to appoint a fully qualified teacher (with QTS) who is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management. This is also a great opportunity for ECTs looking for their first teaching role.

Responsibilities:
  1. Be passionate about their subject and demonstrate high expectations and good classroom management.
  2. Show interest in the science of learning and commit to continuous improvement.
  3. Demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and contribute to a team; possess clear vision, energy, and commitment to all aspects of school life.
  4. Have a desire and passion to make a real difference to the lives and life-chances of students.
  5. Be a Science Specialist.
  6. Hold QTS (with PGCE in Secondary Science) – Applications from ECTs welcome.
  7. Have experience working in KS3-KS5.
