Job description

Job Title: Team Leader – Children’s Home
Location: Burford, Oxfordshire
Salary: £40,792 - £47,831 per annum (including bonuses and sleep-ins)
Number of Sleeps Required: Up to 3 per month
Pay Per Sleep: £80
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Children’s Residential Care qualification, Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
Employment Type: Permanent

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient individual to lead and inspire our team. As a Team Leader, you’ll not only support young people in their daily lives, helping them thrive and build positive futures, but also oversee and guide the staff team to ensure the home operates at a high standard. You’ll be ready to step up and deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers as needed, providing strong leadership and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and young people.

What We Do For You

  • Salary: Base salary of £33,012 - £40,051
  • Bonuses: £2,880 per year from sleep-ins, up to £1,400 Attendance Allowance, £2,000 Regional Allowance, £1,500 Responsibility Allowance, £1,000 Welcome Bonus (upon successful probation), £1,000 Loyalty Bonus (after 12 months)
  • Training: 4-week induction through Care Academy
  • Holiday: 7 weeks’ annual leave
