Job Requirements

This temporary post is available only to current permanent and temporary employees and agency workers assigned within St Helens Primary School.

Salary will be pro-rated for part-time hours.

We recommend submitting your application no later than 21:00 hours on the closing date.

Please note: You will be asked to provide the names of two referees when applying; however, these are not required at this stage.

You should print the role profile and Head Teacher's report and give them to your Head Teacher for completion.

To ensure your application is accepted, it is essential that the Head Teacher's report is signed by and emailed from the Head Teacher who completed it, to the email address provided below.

PVG/Disclosure Checks

For roles within East Dunbartonshire Council requiring PVG/Disclosure checks:

Candidates for regulated roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed.

Successful candidates will bear the cost of the check, deducted from their first salary payment, which may be paid in installments following employment commencement. If employment ends before deduction, the full amount will be recovered from the final salary.

This applies to both new applicants and existing employees applying for roles requiring a PVG/Disclosure check.
