Pay Rates: GBP20 to GBP24 per hour
Pay Mechanism: Direct Engagement
Contract Duration: 19/05/2025 - 30/06/2025

Job Overview:
As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will manage a complex caseload and play a key role in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with neurological conditions, supporting them in regaining independence and improving their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a complex caseload of acute neurological and neurosurgical patients.

Provide comprehensive assessments and deliver individualized rehabilitation programs for patients with neuro trauma and other neurological conditions.
*

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
*

Facilitate and support patient recovery through the application of specialized occupational therapy interventions.
*

Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
*

Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding rehabilitation goals and long-term management strategies.

Requirements:

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience, with significant experience in neurological and neurosurgical rehabilitation.

Experience managing a complex caseload, particularly in an acute setting.

Expertise in neuro trauma rehabilitation is highly desirable.
