Job Description:

22.5 hours per week

Role Purpose: To support the successful delivery of a large-scale transformation initiative through the planning and management of effective communication and engagement across the core and extended programme team. This includes developing agreed working practices and regularly reviewing activities and progress.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Create and manage onboarding collateral for the core and extended programme team, and ensure effective induction of new team members.
  2. Develop and implement the communication and engagement approach plan, utilizing various channels effectively.
  3. Plan and prepare for team events, coordinating with key stakeholders.
  4. Organize regular action learning reviews, ensuring follow-up on actions.
  5. Develop guides to help Initiative Owners and project team members manage change effectively.
  6. Support line managers with tools and resources for change management via the Line Manager Framework (LMF).
  7. Identify risks and obstacles, and implement or escalate mitigating actions.
  8. Evaluate communication and engagement effectiveness, adapting plans based on feedback.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Understanding of engagement channels and their appropriate use.
  • Experience with Project Management Office (PMO) and programme practices.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with deadline management.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Teams).
  • Proficiency in InDesign and video editing software (preferred).
  • Experience with survey tools and data analysis.
  • Ability to develop guides for effective working practices.
  • Event planning and management skills.
  • Facilitation skills for small workshops.
  • Experience creating communication and engagement collateral for interventions.
