Site Manager – Structural Steelwork
Location: Aylesbury
I am looking for an experienced Site Manager to join my client, a leading company in the structural steel industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full site management duties, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Managing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental standards
- Effective communication with management, site teams, and clients
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications and company procedures
- Representing the company professionally at all times
Requirements:
You must have experience working in structural steel and hold the following:
- SMSTS certificate
- CSCS card or equivalent
- Safety at heights/harness certificate
- CPCS card (slinger/signaler)
- IPAF MEWP PAL+ Operators licence
- Competent in the use and changing of Abrasive Wheels
- Alloy Towers certificate
- Full UK Driving Licence
Skills:
- Strong customer relationship management
- Excellent communication with teams and management
- Ability to manage and coordinate site teams
- Commercial awareness in relation to project costs and deadlines
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
