Job Description:

Station Systems Technician - Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) - United Kingdom (On-site)

Join Telent's Engineering Team and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to making an impact. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

Work Schedule: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between early (6am-6pm) and late (12pm-12am) shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.

Candidate Profile:

This role is suitable for entry-level candidates who are hands-on, multi-task, eager to learn, and have experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Proficient with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability for 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between early and late shifts.
