Job Description

We are currently recruiting an Archive Assistant for our Culham site. This role is ideal for someone passionate about a career in forensic testing and eager to utilize their skills in a well-established, market-leading company with over 30 years of experience in providing forensic services to police forces, public sector bodies, and commercial organizations.

As an Archive Assistant, you will handle tasks related to the retrieval, archiving, and destruction of case files and related data. Due to the sensitive nature of this work, security clearance is required, which involves a background check including a five-year UK residency requirement. Successful candidates will also need to pass drug and alcohol tests prior to employment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  1. Support the Archive Supervisor and Manager daily
  2. Retrieve, process, and archive case files and data accurately and promptly
  3. Maintain and update records using specialized software
  4. Archive paper records to ensure a clear chain of custody
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to provide responsive archiving services
  6. Implement destruction of case files following strict procedures and customer requirements
  7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
