Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, well-mannered AV Venue Technician to help us and our customers provide seamless live events. Working with venue operations staff alongside our internal creative and technical teams, you will run the day-to-day events and ensure all equipment is maintained in good operational condition within our venues. You will provide training and support on site during the initial weeks of operation of these new facilities, to ensure the site team has confidence in operating the new systems/products we have implemented.
Salary: Up to £33,000 + Company Benefits

You will need to live within commuting distance of Sheffield, ideally.
Key Responsibilities
- Train site staff on how to operate day-to-day services and basic system operations.
- Ensure the smooth operation of AV events at the venue.
- Schedule maintenance tasks for AV equipment.
- Work with the internal creative team to ensure content is tested and delivered in the correct event formats.
- Resolve problems dynamically as issues arise.
- Document issues and feedback to aid future solution development.
- Communicate with venue operations staff and customers about service elements and demonstrate equipment/product functionalities.
- Assist project producers/product managers in the productisation of packages developed within the trial venue.
- Provide feedback to developers, testers, delivery managers, and customer support teams to manage improvements and new products.
- Support the launch of new features and product improvements through Customer Success, Customer Services, Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams.
- Assist with Change Management for affected stakeholders.
- Help identify risks and issues.
- Support the wider team on less busy site days.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders across the business.
- Get involved hands-on with a small, fast-moving team.
Required Experience
- Prior AV experience (Video & Projection as a bonus), including end-to-end projects, new system setup, user training, and problem solving.
- Experience documenting procedures and processes, with the ability to train others.
- Basic video editing, presentation creation, and Photoshop skills.
Required Skills

- Full UK driving licence.
