Salary: £43,648 - £45,696 per year pro rata

We are recruiting Occupational Therapists to join our Integrated Rehabilitation Teams (IRT) in North Lanarkshire. These teams include Occupational Therapists employed by NHS Lanarkshire or North Lanarkshire Council (NLC), Physiotherapists, Assistant Practitioners, Senior Healthcare Support Workers, and Occupational Therapy Assistants (NLC). The teams collaborate with other services to support residents in achieving independence and living safely and healthily in the community.

Successful applicants will lead efforts to promote independent living, develop and implement statutory plans, liaise with various stakeholders, and undertake assessments for individuals with health issues, disabilities, or aging needs, providing relevant advice and interventions.

Essential qualifications include a BSc or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. Experience in care planning, managing caseloads in diverse settings, and multi-disciplinary working are also required. Knowledge of medical conditions, understanding of the social model of disability, professionalism, and anti-discriminatory practice are essential.

You must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member before starting.
