Job description

Associate Auditor - Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Great that you're thinking about a career with BSI!

Job: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Associate Auditor

Location: UK - home based with travel

Employment Type: Contract

Due to a period of significant growth, we have a new and exciting opportunity to join our Associate Auditing team as a contract CSR Auditor where you will join our existing Internal and Supplier Audit team, working with clients both nationally and internationally.

What will you be doing?

In your role as a CSR Auditor, you will work collaboratively and consultatively with clients and our internal teams to understand client needs and ensure all programmes are delivered effectively.

Essential Experience:

You'll already be an APSCA certified auditor (ideally CSCA, but ASCA auditors should also apply) and as such you will likely have some experience of social auditing to standards and schemes such as SMETA, ISO26000, SA8000, RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council), RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) and PSCI (Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Initiative).

Desirable Experience:

Whilst there will be a focus on social compliance auditing, it is likely that you will have broader auditing experience in disciplines such as quality (ISO9001), environment (ISO14001), and health and safety (ISO45001), and possibly other standards such as:

  1. Knowledge management ISO30401
  2. Organisational governance ISO37000
  3. Purpose driven organisations PAS808 (being developed into an ISO)
  4. Security (e.g. SCAN)
In addition, you must hold a full and valid driving licence as this role will require travel.

Our Excellence Behaviours: Client-centric, Agile, Collaborative. These three behaviours represent how we do things at BSI. They help us ensure that BSI is a great place to work and a highly successful business.

BSI is conducting face-to-face interviews where appropriate and possible. If you are invited to a face-to-face interview but feel more comfortable with conducting the interview virtually, please speak to a member of our recruitment team.
