Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts committed to their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending maintenance tasks, both planned and remedial
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
  • Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion

Ideal candidate profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies and Lates
