An exciting opportunity at The St Leonards Academy for a Minibus Driver/Attendance Support. The role involves driving students to school and conducting home visits for attendance support. Applicants must be over 25 and hold a clean D1 driving licence.
Working Pattern: Term time only (39 weeks)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Actual Starting Salary (calculated pro rata): £21,084 per annum
Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly installments
An exciting opportunity has arisen at The St Leonards Academy as we are looking to appoint a Minibus Driver/Attendance Support to drive one of our academy minibuses on a daily route. The successful candidate will be reliable, approachable, and able to work on their own initiative. The role involves collecting students from designated points and bringing them to the academy in the morning, as well as undertaking home visits for poor attenders, as directed by the Attendance & Admissions Lead. It is important to remain on schedule to ensure students arrive on time.
Applicants must be over 25 years of age and hold a clean UK driving licence entitling them to drive D1 vehicles. The successful candidate will be required to undertake MiDAS training (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme).
