Job Description

Mitie has a great opportunity at Cabot Circus Shopping Centre, Bristol. We are seeking an experienced Control Room Assistant to join our onsite team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Duty Controller. The shift pattern is 4 days on, 4 days off, with a total of 42 contracted hours per week.

Role Responsibilities
  • Monitor CCTV effectively across the scheme, escalating issues as needed.
  • Escalate incidents to relevant personnel.
  • Report Health and Safety issues to Tech Services.
  • Communicate clearly with all departments.
  • Monitor security entry and exit points to the service yard.
  • Assist the Duty Controller with updating Control Room records.
  • Help issue Contractor ID passes and keys.
  • Assist customers and retailers with inquiries via telephone.
  • Direct security officers to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for customers, retailers, and contractors.
  • Be flexible to work overtime as required.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties necessary for the business.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Literate and numerate.
  • Flexible to work shifts on a 24-hour rota.
  • Knowledge of CCTV operations, including Data Protection.
  • SIA Security CCTV License is essential.
