Position: Technical Sales Manager

Based at our QHE head office and part of the management team, you will oversee proposal and estimating activities for QH FLUID INTELLIGENCE on a global scale, aligning with our sales strategy. You will also manage the spare parts business activities and team, working closely with global sales and engineering colleagues. This role is vital in helping our customers build a better future.

About QH FLUID INTELLIGENCE

This innovative digital and automated solution offers real-time monitoring and control of fluid performance and costs, enhancing production efficiency and sustainability by reducing waste, minimizing risks, and lowering total ownership costs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage primary delivery functions and key processes within Equipment Sales, Spares, and Services.
  2. Collaborate with global sales and engineering teams to produce estimates and technical proposals that meet customer requirements and regulations for bespoke capital equipment and services.
  3. Contribute to the company's overall strategy, direction, and operational goals as part of the management team, aligning with global strategies.
  4. Manage the intercompany catalog and pricing tools.
  5. Oversee costing records, order entry, and sales administration systems.
  6. Ensure pricing and contractual terms support profitability and cash flow, liaising with suppliers, sales teams, and customers.
  7. Lead the spares and services team to provide efficient aftermarket support.
  8. Develop standardized methods, tools, and documentation to improve estimation and proposal processes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar role, especially in proposal and estimation processes, ideally within engineering, bespoke machinery, or related fields. Chemical process knowledge is a plus. Excellent communication skills are essential for managing internal and external stakeholders in a global, matrix environment. Familiarity with design software and interpreting technical drawings is required.
