If you're a Databricks connoisseur, this is an implementation that you will want to be part of!

My prestigious client has received significant investment to modernise their data lakehouse platform, transforming their legacy systems into a real-time Databricks, PowerBI, and AWS platform. This platform will elevate the business, ultimately transforming the way they work and utilise data.

They're over 12 months into the implementation, but as you can imagine, there's still plenty more to get done. They now seek a seasoned Data Engineer to join the team and take the platform to the next level.

You should be able to hit the ground running in Databricks, ideally with knowledge of Apache Spark. Sound SQL exposure and AWS experience are essential. Knowledge of Pyspark would be highly advantageous. The platform integrates with Power BI, so experience presenting complex reports and dashboards in Power BI, or similar tools, is desirable.

Their offices are based in Leicester, with a hybrid working model requiring 3 days in the office. The salary is up to £55,000, complemented by an excellent pension scheme, 25 days holiday, and more.
