Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Warehouse First Line Manager (Nights) to join our Iceland team at our ambient site in Swindon.As a Warehouse First Line Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring and driving efficient operational performance, whilst maintaining strong communications with the on-site management team.

This is a full time, permanent position, working nights, with the shift pattern of any 5 from 7 and working hours of 23:00 – 07:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £33,000.00 per annum as well a £100 per month night shift allowance. We offer a generous 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Lead a team of colleagues to operational success in our temperature-controlled warehouse
• Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure that these are always being met and exceeded
• Maximise productivity and improve quality to grow your team
• Lead HR requirements in relation to investigation, disciplinary, grievance and absence management

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a grocery operation)
• The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
