Technical Lead - Platform

Location: Remote (Must be UK-based)

Type: Permanent

Salary: up to 82,000 + benefits

Are you a competent technical leader looking to impact the future of digital platforms? We are working with an established B2B SaaS organisation who are looking for a talented Technical Team Lead to join their growing team.

As the Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of the core platform underpinning a suite of modern digital products. You’ll lead a skilled team of DevOps and QA engineers, collaborating closely with BAs, Product Owners, and Architects to deliver high-quality, scalable, event-driven systems using the latest AWS serverless technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional technical team, ensuring best practices in code quality, style, and test coverage.
• Guide the team in designing and maintaining robust technical architecture.
• Align your team’s work with broader organisational technical strategies.
• Support agile working practices and continuous improvement.
• Participate in a weekend support rota for high-priority incidents.

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience leading software development teams.
• Strong background in delivering digital solutions and maintaining AWS infrastructure (using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Serverless or CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Expertise in event-based microservice architectures.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise, delegate, and manage workloads effectively.
