Job Description

As a Power BI Developer, you will be part of our digital transformation, creating impactful data insights to improve operations and decision-making. Your responsibilities include designing and developing Power BI reports within our enterprise data platform, collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining dashboards, and supporting user adoption through training and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reporting solutions within the Enterprise Data Platform.
  • Manage Power BI workspaces and resolve performance issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles and manage backlogs.
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users.
Location & Working Pattern

Base Location: Swindon – Hybrid (1-2 days in the office per week)

Contract: 12-month fixed-term

Working Pattern: Full Time / 36 hours per week

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Experience designing Power BI solutions and driving adoption
  • Proficiency with Azure stack (ADF, Databricks, SQL)
  • Strong UI design skills
  • Reporting and analysis experience, preferably in utilities
  • Ability to manage Power BI workspaces
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps tools

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and data insights
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of M365 Admin Centre, Teams, SharePoint
  • Utility industry experience
