Business Partner (Network Health) Manager, Germany - Fixed Term Contract, EU DSP

DESCRIPTION

We are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Delivery Service Partners (DSP). Amazon works directly with DSPs to make deliveries to our customers.

We are looking for a Program Manager to join the Last Mile Network Health team. This person will work closely with regional operations stakeholders, account managers, internal teams, and customers to manage the life cycle for Delivery Service Partners. As the team is relatively new, this role is a great opportunity to influence the overall DSP program, drive processes improvements.

The manager will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, ambiguous and dynamic business environment.

This role will be based in London.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Manage multiple tasks and projects ensuring timelines are met while effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal partners and senior leadership.
  2. Support the creation of SOPs and drive process improvements.
  3. Comfortably transitioning between big picture, strategic thinking and tactical, day-to-day planning and execution.
  4. Collaborating with stakeholders including - Coaching and Compliance teams to build a supportive culture of DSP growth and development.
  5. Ensures critical path timelines are met, resource needs are understood and project prioritization is visible to senior leadership.
  6. Cross functional coordination and alignment.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Network Health team is part of the wider EU DSP organization. Our role is to work closely with our stakeholders in assessing the health of our business partners (i.e. the network) and how we can improve the "win-win" collaboration with our DSPs while improving performance and compliance.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. German and English speaker and writer.
  2. Experience in managing projects.
  3. Experience managing stakeholders.
  4. Experience in working with a variety of organizations and management levels.
  5. Experience working in an ambiguous environment.
  6. Experience in improving processes.
  7. Experience in using excel.
  8. One or more additional languages among Spanish, French, German or Italian.
  9. Bachelor's degree.
  10. Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  11. Ability to work across multiple teams to create solutions to monitor business performance and interpret key performance metrics into actionable recommendations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Master degree / MBA.
  2. One of the following additional languages: Dutch, French, Arabic, Italian, Spanish.
  3. Account Management and/or negotiations experience.
  4. Strong project management skills of breaking down tasks, simplifying roadmaps, establishing owners and timelines, and status reporting.
  5. Experience in operations, sales, business development or logistics.
  6. Experience in a transportation environment.
  7. Strategy consulting or other general management experience.
