Job Description:

We are looking for a Special Needs Assistant (SNA) to join our team, initially until 22nd July 2026 on a fixed-term contract. The contract will be linked to a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and reviewed annually based on the child's needs.

Hours: 3 days a week, 8:45 - 3:15

Pay: PS3.3

The successful applicant will provide 1:1 support for a child working on a bespoke early years curriculum.

We are looking for someone who has experience in:

  • Working with children or young people with special educational needs
  • Working within Early Years
  • Planning and delivering learning activities
  • Helping children to regulate
  • Working with young children in a school or early years setting
  • Managing challenging behaviour
  • Working as part of a team
  • Supporting children in small groups or 1:1 both within and outside of the classroom setting
  • Supervising and supporting children during break and lunchtime
