Front End Developer (React.JS Essential) Hybrid Working Salary: £65,000

We're looking for an experienced Front End Engineer to join our client's Engineering team to help deliver our digital roadmap, develop our people and capabilities, and support our Engineering strategy to drive improvements across all teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a product-led operating model. Our client is undergoing the largest digital transformation in their history from a global perspective, focused on building out our Single Digital Platform centered around Salesforce, with a significant .NET estate, use of Azure services, and React frontend web applications.

Our Tech Stack:

• UI: Typescript, React.JS, Redux, rxjs, webpack
• API: .NET, REST, Minimal APIs, Azure Function Apps
• Platforms: Azure, Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Testing: Jasmine, vitest, Playwright

What you'll be doing:

• Building externally facing portal capabilities to enable customer interactions online
• Pairing or mobbing with engineers, product owners, UX designers, and InfoSec colleagues
• Contributing to team ceremonies and planning sessions
• Writing unit and integration tests using tools like Playwright and automating pipelines to ensure platform stability and agility
• Supporting delivery objectives, life cycle management, and reducing technical debt

What you'll bring:

• Experience building customer-facing React applications, ideally with authentication/security
• Ability to manage and diagnose issues in production portals, providing fixes and improvements
• Proven experience with deployment pipelines
• Experience in writing tests and automating testing processes
• Building and maintaining APIs to expose data to React apps is desirable but can be learned on the job
