ICP Project Manager - Permanent - Design & Build Contractor - Birmingham - Electrical Infrastructure Works

Your new company

You will be joining a leading utilities contractor based in Birmingham, specialising in the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure solutions across the UK. This multi-accredited and established organisation has a strong pipeline of work with a range of Tier 1 and regional contractors. They offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard an ICP Project Manager to join their team.

This is a full-time, permanent position based out of their Birmingham office with the option for flexible working.

Your new role

As ICP Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
2. Creating and maintaining project programmes, forecasts, and procurement schedules
3. Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
4. Coordinating with subcontractors and the client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
5. Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
6. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you must have:

1. Proven successful experience overseeing the delivery of electrical infrastructure (ICP/EV/HV/LV) works from inception through to completion
2. Thorough understanding of the DNO/ICP delivery process with good knowledge of project lifecycles
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships
4. Ability to multitask and manage various projects and clients simultaneously
5. Full UK driving licence
