Business Advisor - Advanced Manufacturing/Engineering

Full time/Permanent

Location: Manchester/Hybrid

Salary: Up to £42,000

We are working with a very exciting social enterprise business that is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing/Engineering Specialist to join their expanding team. The role involves supporting business owners in the sector by providing expert advice on organizational development and promoting good employment practices. The ideal candidate will have strong sector knowledge, including insights into business challenges, skills needs, and growth opportunities.

The position is part of a wider business support team that has been assisting companies since 2011, ranging from start-ups to established firms, through tailored guidance, fostering innovation, and connecting businesses with funding and expertise across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective relations with business owners/leaders and key contacts.
  • Promote the work of the Workforce Development team.
  • Identify and support businesses in addressing workforce development challenges.
  • Collaborate with training providers to offer training solutions.
  • Handle client inquiries and assess growth potential, workforce, and business needs.
About You
  • Expertise in facilitating, coaching, and organizational change management.
  • In-depth understanding of workforce development.
  • Experience in the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering sector.
