Job Opportunity: Group Tax Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Accountant to join this dynamic finance team and lead all tax matters within a leading global organisation. The company offers an excellent work culture, prioritizing its people and investing in their career development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation and responsibility for all year-end tax reporting, tax papers, and advising on tax notes for inclusion in statutory accounts.
2. Preparing annual external corporation tax returns and computations in compliance with laws and regulations within specified timeframes.
3. Managing monthly PAYE/NI/CIS reconciliations and submitting payments to HMRC and Irish Tax authorities.
4. Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise.
5. Providing VAT advice on various issues and reviewing VAT returns.
6. Supporting corporate tax projects involving business, organisational, and system changes.

Ideal Candidate Attributes and Skills:

• Qualified tax professional.
• Relevant working experience in a tax role.
• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting and compliance, especially relating to Corporation Tax and VAT.
• Strong systems knowledge, particularly Microsoft Excel.
