Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts to impact critical infrastructure. Be part of a high-performing team doing complex work and help maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS systems. The role involves 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

What you’ll do:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Perform planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasks and updates

Who you are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multitask and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is beneficial.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
