Introduction

This role provides support to the Crisis Management team across both Broking and Technical functions. The successful candidate will receive a tailored career plan aligned with their role and ambitions, along with support from senior brokers and time for professional qualifications.

Responsibilities
Broking:
  • Assist senior brokers with daily portfolio management
  • Draft submissions
  • Handle renewals and new business broking as needed
  • Quote renewal and new business to clients
  • Manage firm orders with clients and markets
  • Communicate directly with stakeholders via phone, email, or face-to-face, appropriately for your knowledge level
  • Ensure timely handling of inquiries and administration, with clear communication in line with company and FCA protocols
  • Maintain professionalism, appearance, and conduct at all times
  • Follow departmental practices, attend team meetings, and undertake necessary training
Technical:
  • Manage daily processes such as:
  • E-file setup
  • Policy number creation for renewals and new business
  • Firm order noting with clients and markets
  • Binding slips and endorsements on PPL
  • End processing with the Technical team
  • Understand systems like Total Objects and PPL
  • Create renewal and new business slips and wordings
  • Create endorsements
  • Manage spreadsheets for bound and pipeline data
  • Ensure subjectivities are satisfied and support post-placement queries
  • Keep account and email files audit-ready
  • Provide general administrative support as needed
