What's the role

The role involves engagement in all stages of the asset lifecycle, focusing on maximizing profits through optimized production and minimized deferments, while ensuring the long-term integrity of assets.

What you'll be doing

As the Cost Controller, you will be responsible for reporting the value of work done and accruals status for each offshore asset. This role is crucial for improving OPEX management and providing visibility of ongoing monthly expenditure to enhance forecasting accuracy.

Additional responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing and reporting project cost budgets, managing and reporting project expenditure to enable robust control throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Producing and issuing monthly Value of Work Done (VOWD) Accruals Reports to asset budget holders (for normal operations, Turnaround Time (TAR), and year-end).
  3. Liaising with Planning to ensure accurate and timely control and forecasting of budgets, assessing and including the impact of change requests.
  4. Coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and other functions to monitor project activities and their impact on budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
  5. Collaborating with project management and planning teams to ensure accurate project cost phasing and rolling 12-month forecasts.
  6. Participating in project/client meetings to present project cost performance status.
  7. Facilitating or chairing internal project cost performance meetings as needed.
