The University of Bath is seeking a Reception Assistant to join their Residence Experience team. This full-time role involves providing excellent customer service, acting as the first point of contact, and working across various reception hubs. We are seeking a Reception Assistant with excellent customer service skills to join our Residence Experience team. The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality and a passion for creating memorable experiences for students and guests.
With over 5,000 bedrooms across campus and the city, we operate multiple reception hubs for students, staff, visitors, and commercial guests. You will work across all receptions on a rota, requiring flexibility to work at various locations and hours, 7 days a week between 8am – 10pm.
The post holder will be the first point of contact, always acting in a welcoming and professional manner, respecting diversity and promoting equal opportunity. Your main responsibilities will include carrying out receptionist duties and responding promptly to enquiries via phone, email, and in person. You should enjoy working with a diverse range of people and be capable of building strong relationships with university departments and stakeholders.
This is a full-time (36.5 hours per week), permanent position.

Salary: £23,028 to £23,881. Appointments at Grade 3 will include a pensionable supplement to ensure a minimum hourly pay of £12.91, in line with the Voluntary Living Wage.
