About the team:
The Cards team provides client support and delivers client and platform changes for Cards Processing Platforms hosted in EMEA. The Cards platform offers card issuance and authorisation capabilities to financial entities of various sizes, including credit, prepaid, and virtual cards.
This role is part of the technical team responsible for maintaining an in-depth level of technical knowledge on the solutions and clients. The successful candidate will be a SME on card processing systems end-to-end and handle more complex production support issues. They will also work on future solutions on the platform to enhance the products and services offered by Cards to its clients.
The ideal candidate for this role should have strong core competencies on E2E platform processing and integration, as well as a background in payment processing.
Additionally, the team provides consultative and educational support to internal partners and clients and assists delivery teams in the end-to-end delivery of new client onboarding programs.
The team compromises of business system specialists, business analysts, project managers, and system administrators who collaborate with various internal partners and external vendors and clients to shape the products and services offered and ensure compliance with regulatory directives and card network mandates.
What you will be doing
As an End to End Solution Engineer, you will focus on the entire platform, ensuring seamless integration of card platforms with other internal and external applications. With in-depth knowledge of card processing systems, you will play a crucial role in client-facing situations to help triage issues, walk through new solutions, and address concerns.
You will act as a key voice in decisions concerning the end-to-end ecosystem, helping shape the future of our platform. Your responsibilities will include:
Analysis of business and client needs, guide business analysts on documentation of requirements on all applications.
Assessing and understanding the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients or stakeholders.
Understanding downstream impacts of change at a functional and infrastructure level
Able to step in on more complex service incidents providing guidance and way forwards
Leading meetings with stakeholders to provide comprehensive status updates on issues
Engaging in high-level meetings with clients to deliver status updates on a regular basis
Providing strategic support during testing processes, including SIT and UAT, as required

Knowledge of financial services industry and an understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles
