Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated, organised individual to become a Research Grant Administrator to join our busy Operations Team.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Organising grant funding schemes, including managing research competitions, stakeholder communication, website updates, system setup, proposal checks, data management, reviewer coordination, and supporting funding committee meetings.
  2. Supporting monitoring and management of awards, including contract preparation and progress reporting.
  3. Maintaining electronic records related to competitions, applications, and awards.
  4. Supporting annual data collection to demonstrate research impact.
  5. Providing flexible support within the Operations team, including data analysis.
  6. Occasional travel for face-to-face meetings.

Qualifications - Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or at least three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in administrative, process-driven, or project delivery environments.
  • Knowledge of grant administration or research environments is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Proactive and initiative-taking attitude.
  • Teamwork and excellent communication skills.
  • Interest in health sciences or healthcare.

Additional Information:

Salary & Benefits: £31,100 PA, bonus, 25 days leave, pension, life insurance, healthcare, season ticket loan.

This role is hybrid, requiring attendance at the office at least 4 days a month.
