4YP are seeking to appoint a full time Schools Youth Link Worker.

Job Purpose

To lead the development and delivery of a three-year secondary school youth work pilot project. To be based primarily at Holbrook Academy IP9 2QX.

Your responsibilities:

  • To provide a link worker provision in schools to maximise the number of young people accessing the community services and the support they need
  • To deliver help and support to young people to make connections with their communities, improve their wellbeing, to build positive and reliable relationships and to learn career and life skills for achieving their goals
  • To identify any themes and gaps in provision, listening to the needs and wants of young people, and using this to inform our provision of support based in school.
