Job Description: Reactive Fire Engineer - Nights

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and drive common solutions. Collaborate with technical experts dedicated to making a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team working on complex, critical work to keep the nation's infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

Reporting to the Senior Reactive Engineer, the successful Reactive Fire Engineer will be a key member of the 1FM Fire contract team, working permanent night shifts. Focused on reactive works, you will be part of a team of highly skilled engineers handling fire maintenance from our Pirin Court Depot, E16 4TL.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for fault maintenance and rectification, including alarms, suppression, and detection systems.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, aiming for first-time fix.
• Attend to and rectify daily faults on the 1FM Fire contract.
• Keep the Senior Reactive Engineer informed of issues and progress.
• Promote a safe working environment and culture on site.
• Assist with scheduling and allocation of work alongside Senior Engineers.

Who you are:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an engineer to join our expanding team on the Fire contract. The role requires availability for permanent night shifts on a 4 on, 4 off schedule. Candidates should have a strong background in fault maintenance and rectification. If you're ready to take on this challenging role and contribute to a growing team, we want to hear from you.

Key Requirements:

• Work permanent nights from 7pm to 7am, on a 4 nights on, 4 nights off schedule.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Understanding of isolations and faults related to the 1FM Fire contract.
• Proven experience in a reactive maintenance environment.
• Experience working alone or in large teams across single or multiple sites.
