Our clients include ASOS, Just Eat Takeaway, Twitch, TikTok, and The White Company.

JOB PURPOSE

Senior Account Managers lead on all the work we deliver for specific clients. We don’t believe in siloed teams – content, technology, media and data overlap in all roles and will work across all four disciplines.

Working on projects end to end, Account Planners develop the strategy for the brands they lead and oversee day-to-day delivery of that strategy, including managing a team. They will represent Dept to our clients, adding value to relationships beyond organisational skills – we want a mixture of an account manager and a planner, not your typical suit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead, line-manage, motivate and inspire your team
  2. Develop annual strategies, identifying priorities for the year
  3. Oversee, project manage and work with teams to develop brilliant digital content (creative, production)
  4. Manage deliverables from across the business (content, technology, media, data)
  5. Ensure delivery of work is to the highest possible standard
  6. Ensure constant innovation across all deliverables
  7. Contribute to our creative process by sharing your ideas and experience
  8. Manage budgets for campaigns and always-on activity
  9. Manage client budgeting
  10. Manage relationships with platforms and partners
  11. Present work internally and externally
  12. Complete work to deadline and often under pressure

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  1. Extensive experience in roles involving account management and strategic planning within digital/social platforms
  2. Experience managing complex campaigns (experience in paid social preferred)
  3. Experience working on a global brand
  4. Confident with both brand and conversion/direct-response campaigns
  5. Experience leading, motivating and coaching team members
  6. Strong client relationship management skills
  7. Brilliant written and verbal English communication skills
  8. Advanced problem-solving skills
  9. Excellent organisational/time management skills and high attention to detail
  10. Excellent presentation skills
  11. Strong creative skills
  12. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  13. Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment
  14. Ability to remain focused under pressure and work under tight deadlines
  15. Proficient in working with data

WE OFFER

  1. A flexible, hybrid working policy
  2. The choice of medical healthcare providers (Bupa or Medicash)
  3. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off each year
  4. Company pension scheme
  5. EAP scheme
  6. Ride to work scheme
  7. Enhanced family-friendly policies
  8. Buddy Program: You will be paired with a ‘Buddy’ to help you through your first weeks at DEPT.
  9. A reputation for doing good. DEPT has been a Certified B Corp since 2021 and named ‘Agency of the Year’ at both The Lovies and The Webby Awards.
  10. Awesome clients. Whether big or small, local or global — at DEPT you’ll get the opportunity to work with clients of all sizes and across all industries. And we celebrate all of our successes together!
  11. The opportunity for possibility. We want to enable you to do what you do best and help you develop your skills further with training, development and certifications.
  12. Global annual DEPT Cares Month in which employees come together and donate their skills to support local charities.
