Job description

Equans is looking for a Trainee Design Coordinator to join our team in Leeds, on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary, a company vehicle or allowance, and a benefits package.
What will you deliver?
  • Assist in the efficient management of the design information process during tender and contract stages.
  • Coordinate the design process and information management with limited management support.
  • Be responsible (with management assistance) for design and consultant management for allocated new build contracts.
  • Solve technical issues on site, such as unforeseen drawing amendments and queries regarding building regulations and planning.
  • Monitor compliance with works on site and in accordance with Building Regulations and Building Safety Regulatory Requirements.

  • Construction Management or Architectural Technologist Degree, or A levels/Level 3 in a relevant subject. (A-level or Level 3 employees will have opportunities to obtain a degree while working)
