GSL Education London Branch are looking for an English Teacher to join a vibrant co-educational comprehensive secondary school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate English Teacher to inspire students and contribute to a thriving English department.

Responsibilities of an English Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students in developing their reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Work closely with colleagues to develop and improve the English curriculum.
• Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and achievement.

Requirements for an English Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
