My name is Benjamin and I live in New Abbey with my husband. I am looking to recruit a second Personal Assistant (PA), possibly on a short-term basis until the end of 2025. Due to unreliable public transport, your own car is essential unless you live in New Abbey village itself. I use a wheelchair and other mobility aids and require some support to move around my home. I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and being assisted to explore my village.

I am looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, has a good sense of humour, and can be adaptable/flexible, to support me with personal care, meals, medication, and mobility. Experience is not required as training can be provided, but I’d prefer someone with some knowledge of the LGBTQ+ community if possible.

Usual hours will be around 4 per week, to be negotiated. The hourly rate will be £12/hour with paid annual leave of 5.6 weeks pro rata. PVG and references are required.
