We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Communications Team as an Assistant Design and Content Officer.

The role:

Reporting to the Senior Design and Content Officer you will be responsible for supporting the production and delivery of impactful and engaging content including print and digital assets, photography, film and other design work, across numerous channels for online, social media and traditional promotional materials.

You will help deliver products which engage audiences and promote the Council’s services and activities in line with our Strategic Plan and priorities. As part of this role, you will also support the delivery of effective internal communications activities which engage staff, supporting improved productivity and job satisfaction

What you will need:

You will have significant experience in a relevant working environment producing designed output using a variety of methods and channels, along with a strong design portfolio demonstrating creative and technical ability across various media.

We are looking for someone with a thorough knowledge and experience of Adobe Creative Suite and relevant professional software. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

A foundation degree, HND or degree in graphic design or other art and design-based subjects is essential.
