About the role
HDR are currently engaged in several programme level scopes plus preconstruction activities for various projects across Europe. The position will enable the right candidate to line manage several project managers. Our record of successful delivery of some major campuses across Europe puts us in a strong position to secure ongoing work at those campuses as well as new developments across Europe.
Primary Objective
The primary objective of the Account Director is to see that the processes involved in the commissioning of engineering services systems have been diligently and accurately planned, managed, executed, recorded, and reported to our client. To maintain extensive day-to-day contact with the client senior team including Project Managers, local and Regional Commissioning Managers, providing status updates as required – at least on a weekly basis.

Profile
Candidates will be experienced Building Services Engineers with a particular interest and/or skill set in commissioning. This could be either by direct experience of setting systems to work or by managing the process in working for a contractor or competitor. Candidates will be expected to have a high level of technical competence in one or more of the following areas:
Preferred Qualifications
Professional qualifications are a benefit but not a prerequisite. Experience (technical and managerial), tact, diplomacy, and good organizational skills are considered essential. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is a must.
