Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving the growth and visibility of Fanatics Collectibles'/Topps' Sport and Entertainment collectibles in the UK retail market. We're looking for a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns, build strong partnerships, and maximize brand engagement across multiple channels. Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  1. Develop and implement compelling marketing strategies for sports and entertainment collections tailored to the UK retail market.
  2. Lead all aspects of consumer marketing, including research, advertising, promotions, digital marketing, and budget management.
  3. Oversee the end-to-end production of digital commercials, ensuring high-quality execution from script to broadcast.

Content & Social Media Management:

  1. Work closely with the Content, Athlete and Social Media marketing teams to create engaging content that drives brand awareness and fan engagement.
  2. Develop influencer marketing strategies to amplify reach and connect with key audiences.
  3. Collaborate with creative teams to ensure all content aligns with brand identity and marketing goals.

Partnership & Relationship Management:

  1. Build and nurture relationships with high-profile partners, including football governing bodies, Premier League clubs, and key brand collaborators.
  2. Manage marketing input for new licensing agreements and contract renewals with professional football clubs in the UK.
  3. Identify and develop new marketing partnership opportunities to expand reach, drive promotions, and enhance brand visibility.

Event & Project Management:

  1. Plan and execute large-scale audience-focused events across multiple UK cities.
  2. Develop project timelines, critical paths, and key deliverables to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

Budget & Financial Management:

  1. Manage and optimize promotional and advertising budgets, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
  2. Collaborate with the sales team to develop retail plans that maximize market penetration and sales growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with internal teams, including product, sales, social media, and customer service, to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
  2. Coordinate with external agencies, suppliers, and PR firms to execute cost-effective and impactful marketing campaigns.

What We're Looking For

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing within sports, entertainment, or consumer products, with a strong understanding of the UK market.
  3. Proven track record of developing and delivering successful marketing campaigns.
  4. Deep knowledge of and passion for football, particularly the Premier League.
  5. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
  7. Experience working in an international, decentralized team environment.
  8. Creative and strategic thinker who can also execute with precision.
  9. Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in the UK market, specifically with Premier League-related initiatives.
  2. Background in working for an international company.
  3. Personal interest or experience in collectibles, sports, and entertainment products.
