Role Overview

As a Cyber Security Analyst at GCHQ in Cheltenham, you'll work within a dedicated team to protect the UK from cyber threats such as malware, insider activity, denial-of-service, and phishing attacks. Your responsibilities include analyzing security alerts, investigating logs and network traffic, developing detection strategies, and supporting digital forensics.

Salary and Working Arrangements

The salary starts at £36,408, including a non-concessionary payment of £2,658. Flexible working options are available, including full-time, part-time, compressed hours, and around 20% home working depending on business needs.

Candidate Profile

Training and Development
