Job description

Supreme Recruitment is currently seeking a temporary Loader Operative / Recycling Shed Operative. The main purpose of this role is to remove all waste and recycling materials as directed, in accordance with contract specifications. Note: This is an ad hoc position, so you may be called in early mornings; therefore, you must be available for early morning calls. You are required to own high visibility clothing (Hi Vis) and safety boots.

Principle Accountabilities
  1. Work as part of a team to collect waste from designated points and return containers as necessary.
  2. Record and report all waste not presented for collection at the appropriate point, including additional work and missed bins.
  3. Complete and record requests for additional work and missed bins.
  4. Ensure waste is loaded safely and correctly, and clear up spillages immediately.
  5. Assist the driver as a reversing assistant to ensure safe vehicle maneuvering.
  6. Adhere to legal requirements, company health and safety rules, procedures, and legislation.
  7. Maintain politeness and respectfulness with colleagues, the public, and client representatives at all times.
  8. Support the company in achieving its business objectives and comply with all procedures aligned with the ISO system.
  9. Perform any other tasks as directed by your manager.
