Kitchen Assistant - Part Time

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells on a part-time basis, working 15 hours per week. Join a team that takes pride in their food, brand, and most importantly, their people. Shift Pattern:
  • Monday to Friday: Mornings
  • Saturday and Sunday: Flexible or as per specific schedule

Please note: This role is contracted for 43.6 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights clients and customers
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
  • Using machinery and equipment correctly and safely
  • Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
  • Representing Chartwells positively and maintaining brand image
  • Adhering to Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Following Health & Safety regulations
  • Managing pressure, prioritising tasks, and communicating effectively
  • Being an excellent team player with a committed, organised approach
  • Working flexibly across shifts and demonstrating reliability and timekeeping
