A leading environmental remediation contractor in the UK is seeking an Environmental Engineer. This site-based role requires a degree in science or engineering, a passion for geoscientific data, and excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will engage in site investigations and environmental monitoring, contributing to diverse projects across the UK.
VertaseFLI is one of the largest and most respected technically qualified remediation contractors in the UK. We encompass remediation design, all the readily available and commercially viable remediation technologies, major earthworks, groundworks, civil engineering, and landfill construction. Projects range in value from tens of thousands to multi-million pounds and are undertaken all over the UK.
The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in science or engineering, be a member or aspiring member of a professional body with an ambition to become chartered in the future, and have a passion for site work, geoscientific data collection and interpretation, and working amongst diverse teams to overcome challenges and achieve common goals.
As the role is site-based, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence, as the role comes with a company van and fuel card.
You will be involved in site investigations, environmental monitoring, and ideally have experience in collating verification data, including the use of GIS.
