Station Systems Technician (Level 4) - Early & Late Shifts - On-site in the UK

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between early shifts (6am-6pm) and late shifts (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting/stopping station communication faults
  • Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution
Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals eager to learn, with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability to work 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating early and late shifts
