Role Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, your main responsibilities include ensuring effective use of maintenance principles, maintaining technical availability of facilities, and providing hands-on technical support to resolve quality and efficiency issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding on electrical systems, interpreting electrical schematics, and understanding mechanical systems.
  • Proactively identifying potential malfunctions to minimize equipment downtime and impact on production.
  • Rectifying faults in machinery, equipment, and processes promptly.
  • Using Health and Safety systems to record breakdowns and warranty processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical discipline.
  • Technical apprenticeship in Electrical or Electrical and Mechanical discipline.
  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge, preferably with high-volume machinery experience.
  • Familiarity with machinery, electrical/mechanical systems, PSS, and SAP data recording is advantageous.
