Retail Assistant (Leisure, 20 Hours) - Copthorne, Crawley

We are recruiting a Retail Assistant in our Leisure department on a part-time, permanent basis, working 20 hours every week with the following pattern:

Week 1

• Sunday: 09:00-13:30
• Monday: 09:00-13:30
• Tuesday: 09:00-13:30
• Wednesday: 10:00-17:30

Week 2

• Sunday: 08:30-17:30
• Monday: 09:00-18:00
• Tuesday: 13:00-18:00

Pay Rate up to £12.21 per hour.

Role of Retail Assistant

Our Retail Assistants welcome customers, assist with questions across a wide range of indoor products, and go the extra mile to drive sales and meet department goals. They maintain product presentation, stock levels, and inventory control. The role involves some heavy lifting and can be physically demanding.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Processing POS (Point of Sale)
• Pricing stock
• Sales ordering and till operation
• Replenishing stock
• Display and merchandising
• General housekeeping duties

About You

This role suits a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual with excellent customer service skills and a desire to learn. Previous retail experience is desirable. You will offer excellent service and provide information on our products within the Leisure Department.
