Business Development Consultant: Industrial Automation - North East UK

This is a great opportunity to join one of the leading industrial automation equipment suppliers as a Business Development Consultant (BDC) covering the North East Region. The successful candidate will be required to live in or around Newcastle. This is a work-from-home role that demands demonstrated growth in previous business development or sales roles.

Key knowledge and experience include:

• Supply chain specialists
• Automation solutions incorporating pneumatic assemblies and components
• Electrical drives

The role involves managing a mix of official partners, with a primary focus on driving business with End Users and Regional OEMs.

Qualifications required:

• A vocational qualification in business or engineering
• An engineering HNC/Degree or higher
• Previous external sales experience in industrial sales

Experience working for a manufacturer or distributor would be advantageous. National overnight stays will be required as necessary.
