Our client is expanding their dynamic design team and looking for a fashion-forward, innovative designer to bring fresh ideas and work collaboratively with other design leads. You'll play a key role in creating standout ladies jerseywear collections that capture the latest trends and appeal to major high-street retailers and supermarkets.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Trend Research & Development - Stay ahead of the game with seasonal trend forecasting, fabric innovation, and colour direction, creating inspiring mood boards and presentations.
2. Design & Development - Take ownership of best-selling jerseywear collections, from initial concept through to final production.
3. Presenting to Buyers - Confidently showcase designs in buyer meetings alongside the Account Manager, bringing collections to life.
4. Technical Collaboration - Work closely with Garment Technologists to ensure perfect fits, construction, and quality.
5. Customer-Centric Design - Align designs with each retailer's brand DNA, balancing commerciality with fresh, trend-led creativity.
6. Fabric & Trim Sourcing - Discover and develop exciting new fabrications and trims to elevate the collection.

What We're Looking For:

1. Proven experience in ladies fashion jersey design.
2. Supplier experience is essential - you'll need to understand the full design-to-production process.
3. Strong knowledge of jersey fabrics, their capabilities, and emerging trends.
4. Confident communicator with the ability to engage and present ideas to key stakeholders.
5. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop - your digital design skills should be on point!
6. A true team player who is highly motivated, creative, and inspiring.
