Summary

We're hiring for a dynamic Early Careers leader to play a pivotal role in the evolution of Early Careers at M&S.

In this role, you'll pave the way for how we hire, develop and lead on early talent which is critical to future proofing our business through building a pipeline of the next generation of future Business Leaders. This role requires a confident leader and executor; one who can innovate at pace with strong leadership skills, outstanding partner management abilities. This is for someone who really wants to put our Early Careers on the map.

You'll have the drive and ability to go beyond just the job description, thinking broadly and creatively, connecting different ideas to make things clearer. What you'll do

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Implementing the strategy and plan, setting ambitious goals and building confidence by doing what we say we'll do
  • Leading the team, leading with intent, giving clarity on goals and priorities
  • The Early Talent lifecycle, critically reviewing and enhancing all aspects such as ED&I, outreach activity, engagement initiatives and retention strategies while remaining positively dissatisfied to drive improved value and impact
  • Coaching the team and business partners, providing expert knowledge to shape thinking improving performance and outcomes
  • Broadening our offering to include internships, placements and work experience
